Thunder sends Yanks, Sox scrambling

Loud thunder sends New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox running for cover and leaping into each other's arms during Sunday night rain delay at Yankee Stadium.

Sunday night's game between the Red Sox and Yankees at Yankee Stadium was delayed three times by weather and ultimately called after 5-1/2 innings. Boston won 3-0 , but judging by this video, players on both teams probably consider themselves winners for getting out of the place in one piece.

During one of the delays erupted a boom of thunder so loud and powerful, it sent players leaping off the bench, jumping into each other's arms and running for better cover in the clubhouse.
