Gold medalist Laurie Hernandez throws amazing cartwheel first pitch
A pair of Olympic gold medalists tossed out first pitches Saturday. Laurie Hernandez, who took team gold and an individual silver on the balance beam, was in New York for the Nationals-Mets game at Citi Field, and she did an aerial cartwheel on the grass before tossing the ball to home plate.
Her teammate Madison Kocian, who took a silver in the uneven bars, did a part of her bar routine and threw a strike. Advantage: Kocian.
