GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) Ivan DeJesus and Adam Duvall each hit three-run homers off Carlos Rodon and the Cincinnati Reds beat the Chicago White Sox 9-7 on Saturday in a split-squad game for both.
DeJesus also had a double and a single as the Reds pounded out 16 hits. Rodon gave up 10 of them and all nine Cincinnati runs. He walked two and struck out three in 4 1/3 innings.
White Sox third baseman Todd Frazier, playing for the first time against his former team, was 2 for 3.
Brandon Finnegan, like Rodon a first-round pick two years ago, also struggled, and was removed during Chicago's six-run fourth. He gave up six hits and seven runs, six earned, in 3 1/3 innings with four walks and six strikeouts.
