PHILADELPHIA (AP) Jacob deGrom tossed a one-hitter, Curtis Granderson and Asdrubal Cabrera homered and the New York Mets beat the Philadelphia Phillies 5-0 on Sunday.

DeGrom (6-4) allowed only a third-inning single to pitcher Zach Eflin and retired 27 of 29 batters. The lanky right-hander struck out seven, walked one and went the distance for the first time in 68 career starts.

Eflin (2-3) allowed five hits and three runs in six innings.

Granderson drove his 16th homer way out to right-center for a 2-0 lead in the third. Cabrera's two-run shot off Andrew Bailey in the eighth was his 13th homer and gave the Mets a 5-0 lead.

DeGrom dominated the Phillies and continued his mastery in day games. He is 15-3 with a 1.63 ERA without the bright lights and 14-15 with a 3.19 ERA at night.
