Chipper tweets on illegal immigration
Chipper Jones is hardly the first athlete to send a tweet filled with language that could certainly offend that is claimed to be in jest. Nor is he lacking in experience in sending such a tweet. But he did bring a new question into the equation: What if you end it with the acronym "Jk"?
The former Braves All-Star third baseman on Saturday apparently tweeted a proposal in the illegal immigration issue.
Y'all think if they took all them gators they trap in Fla and La and put them in the Rio Grande, it wud stop the illegals from crossing? Jk— Chipper Jones (@RealCJ10) June 8, 2013
FYI ... Jk means just kidding, though who gives Jones a pass remains to be seen. As for that other time he has tweeted out something best left unsent? They came during the initial days of the Rutgers-Mike Rice player-abuse scandal.
I got cursed at and called names by a ton of people growing up. Were they fired? Nope! Do I care? Nope! What's the big deal? Toughen up!— Chipper Jones (@RealCJ10) April 3, 2013
