(Sports Network) - The Tampa Bay Devil Rays try to get back on the winning track this evening when they continue their three-game set with the Boston Red Sox at Tropicana Field. Tampa will pin its hopes on righthander Rob Bell, who is 4-4 on the year with a 4.59 ERA. Bell won his last start on Thursday against the Kansas City Royals, as he tossed 6 1/3 scoreless frames. Bell lost to the Red Sox earlier in the season and is 0-2 lifetime against them with a 6.91 ERA in seven games - five starts. In the opener of the set on Monday, Tim Wakefield celebrated his 38th birthday with seven solid innings, as the Red Sox rolled to a 6-3 win. Tino Martinez belted a two-run homer for the Devil Rays, who lost for only the second time in seven contests. Mark Hendrickson (8-9) suffered the loss, surrendering six runs -- five earned -- on six hits in 4 2/3 innings. The Devil Rays are 30-22 at Tropicana Field this season, including a 24-12 mark since May 20. Boston is 6-1 this season against Tampa Bay and the Red Sox are a dominating 48-16 in this series since the start of the 2001 season.
