(Sports Network) - The Tampa Bay Devil Rays go for their third straight win tonight, as they visit the Seattle Mariners for the second of a three-game set at Safeco Field. On Monday, Jose Cruz Jr. drove in four runs to help Scott Kazmir win his major league debut, as the Devil Rays beat the Mariners, 9-0, in the opener of the series. Kazmir (1-0) allowed only four hits over five shutout innings for the Devil Rays, who have won two straight after dropping four in a row. The 20- year-old lefthander struck out four and walked three. Cruz finished 2-for-5 with a three-run homer in the opener for Tampa Bay, which won for only the third time in 13 outings. Rookie sensation B.J. Upton continued his torrid pace, going 2-for-4 with a run scored, as the Devil Rays ended a six-game road losing streak. The Devil Rays send Rob Bell to the hill tonight. He is 1-0 against Seattle this season and is 2-1 all-time against the Mariners. The 6-5 righty is 3-3 with a 4.57 ERA on the road this season. Earlier this season, the teams split a four-game series Tropicana Field. This set marks the final meetings of the year between the two clubs.
