(Sports Network) - The Tampa Bay Devil Rays try to make it three straight wins this evening when they continue their four-game set against the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. Jorge Sosa will take the hill for the D-Rays tonight, as he tries to improve upon his 3-0 mark. Sosa, who has been used primarily out of the bullpen this season, did not record a decision in his last start on Thursday against the Seattle Mariners, as he allowed an unearned run on six hits in seven innings of his team's 4-2 loss. With one more victory, Sosa would tie the Rays' record for victories without a loss to start a season. Reliever Esteban Yan went 4-0 in 1998 as did reliever Rick White in 1999. Doug Waechter started out 3-0 last season before losing a decision. Sosa earned the win in a relief stint against the Red Sox earlier in the year and is 1-2 lifetime against them with a 5.79 ERA in seven games - one start. In the opener of the set on Monday, Julio Lugo had three hits, including a solo homer, and finished with two RBI to lead Tampa Bay to an 8-3 win. Aubrey Huff and Toby Hall each hit two-run homers while Tino Martinez added a solo homer for the Devil Rays, who have won three of their last four games. John Halama (6-5) earned the win after tossing six-plus innings. Halama permitted three runs and 10 hits while fanning six. Boston has won seven of its 10 matchups with the Devil Rays this season, including three of four played in Beantown. The Red Sox are also a dominating 49-18 in this series since the start of the 2001 season. The Devil Rays have posted a 20-32 mark on the road.
