(Sports Network) - A pair of pitchers struggling to find their mark meet tonight at Olympic Stadium as Zach Day and the suddenly-surging Montreal Expos continue a four-game series versus Tom Glavine and the New York Mets. The Mets lost 19-10 last night. Richard Hidalgo had two homers and three RBI for the Mets, who have dropped four in a row. David Wright added his first career home run as the Mets lost for the 10th time in 13 games. New York is starting to fade in the NL East, as Art Howe's squad is now six games behind the front-running Atlanta Braves. New York used a total of seven pitchers, including position player Todd Zeile. Glavine is 0-5 in his last seven outings with his last win coming at Kansas City on June 13. His career-high losing streak is seven decisions from June 15 - August 12, 1988. The 38-year-old lefthander didn't get a decision last Thursday as he was touched for five hits and a run in seven innings, a game in which the Expos won 4-1. During his career against the Expos, Glavine has registered a 24-19 record with a 3.49 ERA in 53 games. He has thrown 10 complete games versus Montreal, the most against any opponent. Mets catcher/first baseman Mike Piazza hasn't played since July 20 due to a sprained left wrist and he is questionable for tonight's game.
