Houston, TX (Sports Network) - Houston Astros starting shortstop Adam Everett suffered a fractured ulna bone in his left wrist Friday and is expected to be sidelined 4-to-6 weeks. Everett sustained the injury when he was hit by a Claudio Vargas pitch on the left hand in the fourth inning of the Astros' 4-0 win over Montreal at Minute Maid Park. He was taken to a hospital for x-rays, which revealed the fracture. It was not immediately known if Everett would need surgery. Everett was batting .272 with eight home runs and 31 RBI this season.
