(Sports Network) - Adam Kennedy went 3-for-4 with two runs scored to spark the offense, as the Anaheim Angels completed a three-game sweep of the Toronto Blue Jays on Sunday with a 5-2 win at SkyDome. Kennedy scored the tying run after a leadoff triple in the third inning, and was the go-ahead run two innings later after a leadoff double. He finished a home run shy of the cycle in helping the Angels to their fifth win in six tries. Anaheim earned its first sweep in Toronto since May 1989 and heads into the All-Star break with a 47-40 record. The Angels were 49-43 at the break last year, but posted a dismal 28-42 mark the rest of the season on the way to a third-place finish in the AL West. Starter John Lackey (7-8) pitched well enough over 5 2/3 innings to earn the victory. He yielded two runs on six hits, striking out five without walking a batter to take his third consecutive decision. Vladimir Guerrero and Francisco Rodriguez will represent the Angels in Tuesday's All-Star Game at Minute Maid Park in Houston Anaheim starts the second half on Thursday with the opener of a four-game home set against the Boston Red Sox.
