"She came here to escape from everything happening in New York City," Kravitz said in a statement. "Cynthia is a friend and is here with the godfather of her baby, who is also Alex's trainer, his wife and their baby girl."
Kravitz did not name the trainer.
But the rocker took a swing at reports that he's romantically linked to A-Rod's wife, claiming he's just lending a guest bed and sympathetic ear.
"There is absolutely no affair between Cynthia Rodriguez and myself," Kravitz said.
"This is unequivocally, 100 percent not true . . . I opened my home to her as a friend, and I find it extremely hurtful that I am now being referred to as an adulterer."
C-Rod arrived in Paris earlier this week, although it's not clear how much of her time was spent with the rocker son of late "Jeffersons" actress Roxie Roker.
Kravitz performed at a music festival in Belgium last night and has concerts scheduled for tomorrow in Bilbao, Spain, and Tuesday in Barcelona.
Cynthia fled from New York after published reports linked her husband to late-inning visits to Madonna's Upper West Side apartment.
Despite A-Rod's denials of any canoodling, his wife apparently had enough. "(Cynthia) doesn't believe they are just friends," according to an insider quoted by Us Weekly on its Web site.
"Something deeply suspicious is happening," the source added. "Cynthia did leave because she is sure this is all true."
Cynthia was lying low in the City of Light and could not be reached for comment.
Her dad told The Post he hopes the couple will patch things up.
More from the New York Post
"We love Alex. Of course, we love our daughter. Hopefully, they will work things out," John Scurtis said from his Miami home.
"Marital issues happen in all walks of life."
He said Cynthia went to Paris because Kravitz invited her to a concert. He added that her two young daughters are "being taken care of," but wouldn't elaborate.
Cynthia's mom, Evangeline, said, "We've known about this for a long time. Everyone else is shocked, but we're not shocked." She would not elaborate.
Earlier, the mother said, "My daughter is a very good girl. She has high values."
The stunning news that A-Rod and Madonna were late-night buddies took another twist earlier this week when Us Weekly reported that one of the hook-ups happened right after the birth of the Rodriguezes' second daughter, Ella, on April 21. "Alex literally left 10 minutes after the baby was born and then was at Madonna's," a source told the magazine yesterday. "It's true. It's crazy."
Madonna and hubby Guy Ritchie, who made headlines last week when the Material Mom reportedly hired top London divorce lawyer Fiona Shackleton, kept mum yesterday about the alleged bed-hopping.
Ritchie yesterday left their Central Park West apartment building by himself and ducked into a black SUV without answering questions. He ignored reporters when he returned last night with the couple's 7-year-old son, Rocco.
Yesterday afternoon, Madonna emerged through a side exit and jumped into a black SUV before speeding away. She sneaked back into the building just before 10 p.m.
The latest chapter in the A-Rod drama couldn't come at a worse time for the Bombers, who lost, 7-0, to the hated Boston Red Sox at the Stadium last night. A-Rod left the clubhouse without talking to reporters.
Still, Yankee boss Hank Steinbrenner insisted it's "no distraction" to the team. "Whether it is to Alex I don't know," he said, "but from what I'm hearing, no, it's not."
Red Sox Nation gleefully soaked up every word written about A-Rod's faltering marriage.
"You wouldn't see this stuff in Boston. Go, Lenny Kravitz!" said Sox supporter Brendon Stewart, 23, of Saratoga Springs, outside Yankee Stadium last night.
