News: Rosenthal was charged with a blown save Tuesday, giving up one earned run on one hit and two walks against the Brewers. Impact: The Cardinals' closer hadn't given up a run since Aug. 25, with Tuesday's appearance ending a streak of seven straight scoreless appearances. It hasn't been a very smooth year for Rosenthal, as this was his sixth blown save and he also has an unsightly 1.41 WHIP. However, the strikeouts (85) and saves (44) have been there for fantasy owners, and if Rosenthal was going to lose his closer job, it would have happened already.(RotoWire, )

News: Rosenthal pitched a perfect ninth inning to nail down his 44th save of the season in the win over Colorado on Sunday. Impact: Rosenthal struck out the side on 18 pitches without allowing a baserunner. At just 24, he appears to be joining Craig Kimbrel and Kenley Jansen as the best young closers in baseball.(RotoWire, )

News: Rosenthal closed the door on the Cardinals sixth straight win, picking up his 42nd save allowing two walks and striking out one. Impact: Rosenthal's strikeouts and saves have delivered for fantasy owners this season, even if some of his secondary numbers have been a little disappointing. He'll no doubt close the season as a top-5 fantasy closer and should enter next season with the same expectations. He's still clearly behind the likes of Craig Kimbrel and Kenley Jansen.(RotoWire, )
