News: Mets catcher Travis d'Arnaud will miss the final few games of the season because of a bone spur in his right elbow that requires surgery. Impact: New York manager Terry Collins says the spur has broken off and d'Arnaud felt a pop in his elbow on a throw to second base Tuesday in Washington. News: D'Arnaud has a bone spur in his right elbow and will undergo surgery Wednesday, ending his season, The Record reports. Impact: D'Arnaud apparently first felt the injury Tuesday, and found out later that it was a bone spur. He had a good second half to the season, but it will end prematurely due to the injury. D'Arnaud will become a free agent in the offseason, and it wouldn't be surprising if multiple teams are interested in the 25-year-old catcher.(RotoWire, )
