News: Casilla pitched a perfect inning with two strikeouts to get the save in the Giants' 5-2 win over the Phillies on Sunday. Impact: It was Casilla's 10th save since getting the closer gig at the start of July. Sunday's save quieted any concerns that he may have lost the closer's role after Sergio Romo got the save Saturday. After allowing three runs in the last three outings, Casilla was commanding during his inning of work. His ERA still sits at 1.62 ERA despite the recent struggles.(RotoWire, )

News: Casilla took his third loss of the season Friday against the Phillies in a non-save situation, as he gave up one run in 0.2 innings pitched while allowing one walk. Impact: The poor outing is now Casilla's third in a row, in which he's given up at least one earned run in each appearance. His numbers remain dominant (1.66 ERA and 0.920 WHIP) so this is likely just a small blip on the radar. Look for Casilla to get back on track for the Giants.(RotoWire, )
