News: Twins manager Ron Gardenhire sounded optimistic Friday that Hughes will make his next scheduled start after taking a liner off his shin during Thursday's start, FOX Sports North's Tyler Mason reports. Impact: He limped off the field in the fourth inning Thursday, but it doesn't sound like he'll miss a start due to the lower leg injury. After posting a 1.62 ERA in May, he had a 4.10 ERA in June and followed that up with a whopping 5.97 ERA in 28.2 July innings. His FIP is still a sterling 2.71, but he's definitely trending in the wrong direction.(RotoWire, )
