News: Hughes allowed three runs and seven hits while striking out eight in seven innings Saturday against the Angels. Impact: Hughes gave up a run in each of the first three innings before settling down and pitching four scoreless innings. He left the game with a two-run lead, but the Minnesota bullpen failed to hold the lead, giving up five runs in the final two innings. Nonetheless, Hughes is having an excellent season, with 15 wins, a 3.55 ERA, a 1.15 WHIP, and a very impressive 165:15 K:BB. His 165 strikeouts tie his career best when he was with the Yankees in 2012.(RotoWire, )
