News: Cotts is a candidate to see work in save situations following the trade that sent former Rangers closer Joakim Soria to Detroit. Impact: Cotts is likely second in the pecking order for saves behind Neftali Feliz, as he has only two saves in his career. He also owns a shaky 1.40 WHIP, nearly twice the number that Feliz has posted so far in a limited sample size in 2014. Although Feliz may be the frontrunner, Cotts may still pick up the occasional save opportunity, especially if manager Ron Washington takes a closer-by-committee approach. In the case where the opposing team is sending several left-handed bats to the plate in the ninth inning, the southpaw Cotts may hear his name called. Until a decision is made official, Cotts is likely only worth a prospective look in deeper and AL-only formats.(RotoWire, )
