News: Mikolas earned his first win of the season Monday, holding the Yankees to two runs in 7.1 innings. Impact: Mikolas has had a rough go of things so far in the majors this season, posting an unsightly 7.48 ERA even with his strong start Monday. News: Mikolas lost for the second straight start Saturday, giving up four earned runs on nine hits in 5.2 innings against the Angels. He also walked one and fanned three. Impact: That's 21 hits and 13 earned runs in the last nine innings (two starts) for the third-year big leaguer, who has yet to find the win column in three starts this season. Mikolas' immediate fate is unclear in terms of where and when his next start will occur, as the last-place Rangers will likely assess their rotation during the All-Star break and make some changes in hopes of ending their seven-game losing skid. That being said, he could very well be heading back down to the minors sooner than later.(RotoWire, )
