News: Cuddyer went 3-for-5 with a homer in Thursday's win over the Diamondbacks. Impact: It was just his eighth long ball of the year, as Cuddyer's spent a lot of time on the DL. When he's played, however, he's been a borderline-elite hitter, with a spectacular .327 average and .933 OPS in 42 games.(RotoWire, )

News: Cuddyer had three hits, including a double, in Saturday's 5-4 loss at St. Louis. Impact: Cuddyer, who has been injured for most of the season, had been 1 for 12 over his previous three games.(STATS, 10:00pm)

News: Cuddyer is not in the lineup Wednesday. Impact: Charlie Blackmon will slide over to right field, with Drew Stubbs getting the start in center. The fact that Cuddyer's batting average dropped from .328 to .319 with an 0-for-4 night Tuesday illustrates just how little he has been able to play this season. The fact that he'll turn 36 next season and will be a free agent makes it difficult to project his value for the 2015 season. If he moves out of Coors Field, it will be hard to imagine him hitting above .300 for a third consecutive season.(RotoWire, )

News: Cuddyer went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Monday against the Mets. Impact: Cuddyer hasn't played much this season due to injuries, but he has performed well when healthy as he is hitting .328 with seven home runs and 20 RBI. He could provide fantasy owners with a nice boost down the stretch if he can stay healthy.(RotoWire, )

News: Cuddyer (hamstring) was activated from the 15-day DL on Monday. He'll be in the lineup at first base Monday against the Mets, batting in the cleanup spot for the Rockies. Impact: In a season chock-full of health issues, Cuddyer's most-recent injury qualifies as one of the lesser concerns, as he missed only the minimum 15 days on account of the hamstring issue. During the few occasions in which he's been healthy this season, Cuddyer has shown that his NL batting title campaign of 2013 was no fluke, batting .331 with six homers over his 130 at-bats. With the 35-year-old set to become a free agent after the season, a productive, injury-free September could help him land a favorable new contract in the winter.(RotoWire, )

News: Cuddyer (hamstring) is set to return from the disabled list Monday against the Mets, Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post reports. Impact: Cuddyer hasn't seen game action since a pinch-hit appearance back on Aug. 23, but will make his return early this week. Fantasy owners considering adding him in their weekly lineups may want to exercise a wait-and-see approach, as it's unclear how much playing time the 35-year-old will see upon his return. With Cuddyer set to hit free agency after a disappointing season and the Rockies out of contention, they may elect to award more reps to their younger players.(RotoWire, )
