News: Lynn's next start has been pushed back to next Tuesday against the Red Sox, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. Impact: John Lackey, whom the Cards acquired from the Red Sox on Sunday, hasn't pitch since last Saturday and the team understandably doesn't want to give him 10 days between starts. Thus, the Cards will start Lackey in Sunday's finale against Milwaukee and move Lynn to Tuesday.(RotoWire, )

News: Lynn (11-8) allowed two runs (one earned) on four hits and three walks, while striking out six over six innings, but ended up taking the loss Tuesday against the Padres. Impact: All three of the walks that Lynn allowed came in a 35-pitch sixth inning, which ultimately led to his downfall. With the game knotted at 1-1, Lynn started off the frame with consecutive walks. Jedd Gyorko would later follow with a one-out RBI single to give the Padres a 2-1 lead that they'd never give up. The Padres would end up loading the bases with two outs on Lynn's third walk, but he'd get pinch hitter Yasmani Grandal to strikeout to end his night. He'll finish up the month of July with a 1.73 ERA over five starts, and he now boasts an ERA of 2.98 over 133 innings this season. He'll matchup against the Brewers his next time out Sunday.(RotoWire, )

News: Lynn had his three-start winning streak snapped Wednesday despite a strong effort in a 3-0 loss to Tampa Bay. He was charged with two runs - one earned - and six hits over 6 1-3 innings with seven strikeouts. Impact: Lynn is still 5-3 with an impressive 2.36 ERA over his last eight games.(STATS, 6:04pm)

News: Lynn (11-7) took the loss Wednesday against the Rays, allowing two runs (one earned) on six hits and three walks while striking out seven. Impact: A bit of a tough-luck loss for Lynn, who pitched well enough to keep St. Louis in it, but the offense failed to score for him. The right-hander has gone at least six innings and allowed no more than two runs in all four July starts. He has a 1.75 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 26 strikeouts in 25.2 innings over that span. Lynn will pitch Tuesday in San Diego.(RotoWire, )

News: Lynn will get the start Wednesday as Shelby Miller will be skipped this time through the Cardinals rotation, MLB.com reports. Impact: Lynn's start will come five days after his last so there should be no issues from a fatigue standpoint. Miller is working out of the St. Louis bullpen for now.(RotoWire, )

News: Lynn won his third straight start Friday night with nine strikeouts in six innings, leading the Cardinals to a 3-2 victory. Impact: Lynn is 33-15 with a 3.54 ERA before the All-Star break and 12-9 with a 3.91 ERA after the break. He's been among the pitchers getting the most run support, too. He'll face the Rays next.(STATS, 2:05pm)

News: Lynn picked up his 11th win on the season as he gave up two runs over six innings, while striking out nine and walking four against the Dodgers on Friday. Impact: It was a solid effort from Lynn, who now is among the league leaders in wins, but he still walks far too many hitters with 46 over 120.2 innings. Consider Lynn an upper-tier option for the remainder of the season, even with his propensity to give out too many free passes.(RotoWire, )
