News: Nieuwenhuis (neck) was scratched from Wednesday's lineup against the Athletics, ESPN's Adam Rubin reports. Impact: Nieuwenhuis completed tests earlier in the day which seemed to show nothing concerning regarding his neck injury, allowing him to slot back into the Mets' initial lineup. However, the Mets evidently decided to err on the side of caution and keep him out of the game. As a result, Curtis Granderson moves over from DH to cover for Nieuwenhuis in right field, while Eric Campbell takes Granderson's spot at DH.(RotoWire, )
