News: Nicasio was traded to the Dodgers on Monday for either a player to be named later or cash considerations. Impact: Nicasio struggled over the span off 93.2 innings with the Rockies last season to the tune of a 5.38 ERA and 1.47 WHIP in 2014. Part of the poor numbers can be attributed to his home park being Coors Field, but his numbers on the road (4.78 ERA, 1.62 WHIP) weren't that much better. It's unclear what role the Dodgers have in mind for Nicasio, but he could fight for a spot in the back end of the rotation or in the bullpen.(RotoWire, )

News: Nicasio was designated for assignment Thursday. Impact: Nicasio owns an unsightly 5.03 ERA over 88 big league appearances, so the Rockies decided to remove him from the 40-man roster. His next step will be based on whether or not he clears waivers.(RotoWire, )
