News: Francisco is not in the lineup Saturday against the Yankees, Barry Davis of Sportsnet.ca reports. Impact: No surprise here, as lefty Chris Capuano is on the hill for the Yankees and Francisco is just 4-for-33 (.121 average) against southpaws this season. The 27-year-old has posted a .912 OPS against right-handers with 14 homers in 186 at-bats, so he'll continue to be in the lineup more often than not.(RotoWire, )

News: Francisco finished a double short of the cycle Thursday against Boston, going 3-for-4 with a single, a triple, his 15th homer, four RBI and two runs. Impact: A nice bust-out for Francisco, who hadn't homered since July 7. At this point, every homer he hits adds to his career high -- now if only he could find a way to lift his batting average out of that .230-.240 range.(RotoWire, )

News: Francisco is out of the lineup Wednesday versus the Red Sox, Barry Davis of Sportsnet reports. Impact: Sitting for the second time in four games, Francisco is yielding first base to Jose Bautista, while Munenori Kawasaki covers third base. After a hot start to his Blue Jays tenure, Francisco cooled down in June, and his attempts to bounce back in July have been sporadic, as evidenced by a .216/.286/.432 line with two homers in 37 at-bats.(RotoWire, )

News: Francisco is back in the lineup Monday against the Red Sox. Impact: After taking a seat while Steve Tolleson got the start Sunday, Francisco returns to face right-hander John Lackey. Francisco has struggled of late, hitting just .226 in July after a paltry month of June in which he slashed .169/.217/.369. He'll bat eighth and man his usual post at third base.(RotoWire, )
