News: Reddick (ankle) is back in the lineup Saturday against the Phillies. Impact: Despite ankle soreness and a neck issue that bothers him when he swings, Reddick will return to the lineup after missing just two starts. Jerome Williams, Saturday's starter for Philadelphia, won't be happy to see Reddick in there, as Reddick is 6-for-14 with two doubles and a homer against him in his career.(RotoWire, )

He will be available off the bench if needed, however, MLB.com's Jane Lee reports. Impact: Reddick had an MRI on his ankle Wednesday, but is obviously being bothered by multiple injuries at this point. He was out of the lineup for the past two days, and will sit again Friday, as Sam Fuld will again start in right field with Brandon Moss in left.(RotoWire, )

Impact: The 27-year-old is also dealing with neck soreness after tumbling over the first base bag Wednesday night, but the ankle injury is of utmost concern. Fortunately, his MRI came back clean, but Reddick will not be available in any capacity Thursday and it sounds like the team could give him several more days to recover.(RotoWire, )

While Reddick is batting just .205 so far in September, he's still sitting on a .265/.314/.497 line since the All-Star break and will likely continue to play regularly against right-handed pitching.(RotoWire, )

News: Reddick is out of the lineup Friday against the Mariners, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. Impact: Once again, manager Bob Melvin has stacked his lineup with right-handed bats with another lefty on the hill for the opposition. News: Reddick is out of the lineup Thursday against the White Sox, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. Impact: Reddick's absence is hardly surprising, given his .170/.240/.193 batting line against lefties and the fact that ace Chris Sale is on the hill for Chicago. The A's are facing another lefty Friday (James Paxton), so Reddick could end up getting a two-day break.(RotoWire, )

News: Reddick hit his 11th homer and drove in two runs on Monday night against the White Sox. Impact: Reddick's bomb was big at the time as it tied a game in which the A's were losing 2-0. Reddick has been quite solid since the All-Star Break, hitting .284 with a .866 OPS. In addition, he has seven homers in only 134 at-bats after hitting only four (with a .229 batting average) in the first half in 179 at-bats. Reddick could be a sneaky add down the stretch since a lot of owners gave up on during his rough first half.(RotoWire, )

News: Reddick is out of the lineup Sunday against the Astros. Impact: Reddick will sit with the left-handed Dallas Keuchel on the mound for the Astros. Craig Gentry gets the start in right field Sunday and will bat second for the Athletics.(RotoWire, )

News: Reddick is out of the lineup Friday against the Astros. Impact: Manager Bob Melvin has all but rid his lineup of lefty-handed bats to take on Brett Oberholtzer, with the lone exception Adam Dunn at DH. Reddick looks like he could use a breather, having recorded just four hits in his last 24 at-bats (.166 average).(RotoWire, )
