News: De La Rosa held the Reds to three runs over seven innings Thursday, allowing five hits and a walk, striking out five to get the win, his 12th on the season. He did this despite tweaking a sore Achilles' tendon in his first at-bat of the game. Impact: De La Rosa was able to overcome an early 2-0 deficit to hang on until the Rockies were able to provide him with some run support and cruised from there. He's actually been far better at Coors Field (3.30 ERA) than on the road (5.35 ERA) this season.(RotoWire, )

News: De La Rosa (11-8) took the loss Saturday vs. the Diamondbacks, surrendering four runs over six innings in the 14-4 defeat. Impact: The final score would seem to suggest De La Rosa was torched in the outing, but the nine runs allowed by the Rockies' bullpen in the eighth inning turned a tight game into a rout. After giving up a three-run homer to Mark Trumbo in the third inning, De La Rosa put the clamps on the Diamondbacks for his final three innings to keep the Rockies in the game temporarily.(RotoWire, )
