News: Kelly bounced back with seven strong innings Saturday. Impact: Kelly gave up four hits over seven innings, retiring his last 13 batters as the Cardinals won for the eighth time in 10 games. He didn't get a decision on July 11 in his return from a strained left hamstring, when he gave up six runs over three innings during the Cardinals' 7-6 win at Milwaukee. After winning for the first time since April 5, he wouldn't detail his changes. "I did a lot of stuff different, but I'm not going to give it away," he said.(STATS, 2:45pm)

News: Kelly picked up his second win of the season Saturday, as he held the Dodgers to one run on four hits and a walk over seven innings. Impact: Kelly, who struck out four batters, threw 62 of his 99 pitches (62.6 percent) for strikes. He's done well to surrender just seven walks in 25.1 innings this season, but as we saw in his last outing, the right-hander is perfectly hittable. Luckily for owners, Kelly's next outing lines up for Friday in Chicago, against the light-hitting Cubbies. It should be a manageable matchup for the pitch-to-contact righty.(RotoWire, )

News: Kelly (hamstring) was roughed up for six runs on seven hits over three innings against the Brewers on Friday night. Impact: He was able to avoid the loss as the Cards' offense picked up seven runs over the final six innings to rally for a 7-6 victory. It's unclear if Kelly will be on the schedule for a start in the first series after the All-Star break next weekend.(RotoWire, )

News: Kelly (hamstring) was activated from the 60-day DL on Friday. Impact: Just three starts into the season, Kelly was forced onto the DL with a hamstring strain, and he ended up missing close to three months as a result of the injury. He's finally been given the green light to return following a three-start rehab assignment with Triple-A Memphis and is scheduled to toe the rubber Friday opposite the Brewers' Yovani Gallardo. Jaime Garcia (shoulder) was moved to the 60-day DL to make room for Kelly on the 40-man.(RotoWire, )
