News: Soria gave up a run in his return from the disabled list Wednesday. Impact: After missing time with an oblique injury, Soria is ready to roll again in the Detroit bullpen. The run Wednesday wasn't a crucial one, as it merely extended the Royals' lead to three runs on a night where the Tigers' offense failed to plate a run.(RotoWire, )

News: Tigers manager Brad Ausmus says Soria will be activated Wednesday, a month after he went on the disabled list with a left oblique strain. Impact: The Tigers acquired Soria from Texas shortly before the trade deadline to help their bullpen, but he made only six appearances for Detroit before the injury. Overall this year, Soria is 2-4 with a 3.58 ERA and 17 saves. Joe Nathan and Joba Chamberlain have been slotted into the late innings for the Tigers this year. Ausmus didn't specify any inning in which Soria would be used when he comes back, but he said he'll be part of that back end of the bullpen for sure.(STATS, 5:54pm)
