News: The Rays traded Hellickson to the Diamondbacks on Friday, SB Nation's Chris Cotillo reports. Impact: Hellickson missed nearly the entire first half after undergoing arthroscopic elbow surgery in February and finished with a rather unsightly 4.52 ERA and 1.45 WHIP over 63.2 innings. However, Hellickson enjoyed success immediately upon his return, posting a 2.61 ERA over his first seven starts (38 innings), and his 10 percent swinging-strike rate was his best since his rookie season. The Rays will reportedly get outfielder Justin Williams and shortstop Andrew Velazquez back in the deal.(RotoWire, )
