News: Arrieta didn't have his best stuff Thursday, lasting just four innings while giving up six runs on six hits and four walks in the loss to Cincinnati. Impact: Arrieta did record eight strikeouts but that's about the only silver lining to glean from his performance today. Owners have little reason to worry as he's been terrific all season and has the stuff to back up his numbers. He'll look to put this start behind next week against Milwaukee.(RotoWire, )

News: Arrieta pitched well to beat his old team Friday. He allowed one run and four hits over seven innings in a 4-1 win over visiting Baltimore. Impact: Arrieta has gotten back on track by going 1-1 with a 1.27 ERA in his last three outings for the Cubs.(STATS, 7:02pm)

News: Arrieta limited the Mets to two hits in seven scoreless innings of Sunday's 2-1 win but again was denied the decision. Impact: Arrieta has been great this year, but he's been of little help to fantasy owners in the win column with one victory in his last eight starts.(STATS, 6:17pm)

News: Arrieta turned in another strong outing Sunday against the Mets, though he wasn't rewarded for the win. He didn't allow a run while giving up two hits and two walks, striking out nine. Impact: Pedro Strop got the vulture win instead because he gave up the game-tying run in the eighth inning, and Starlin Castro led off the ninth with a homer. Arrieta's curve was especially effective Sunday.(RotoWire, )
