News: Happ (8-8) was thumped for four runs on six hits and two walks over 3.1 innings as the Blue Jays dropped Tuesday's game to the Brewers. Impact: Happ put himself in trouble from the get-go, giving up three doubles in the first inning as the Brewers raced to a 2-0 lead. He didn't have much success finding the strike zone thereafter, either, and manager John Gibbons ended up pulling him after 70 pitches. It was Happ's shortest start since he failed to get out of the third inning against the Angels back on May 10.(RotoWire, )

News: Happ pitched six innings, allowing five runs (four earned) on seven hits and one walk while striking out just one batter before picking up his seventh loss (8-7) of the year in Tuesday's defeat to the Mariners. Impact: After pitching well of late, having not given up more than two earned runs in his previous five starts, Happ took a slight step back Tuesday. With a 4.20 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 90:40 K:BB ratio in 109.1 innings pitched this year, Happ is not the most exciting starter out there. His next start is scheduled for Tuesday on the road against the Brewers.(RotoWire, )

News: Happ took the tough-luck loss against Baltimore on Thursday, striking out a career-high 12 batters over eight strong innings. The only mistake he made was a two-run homer to Caleb Joseph in the fourth inning. Impact: Happ has looked great in four starts since the All-Star break, although it's hard to believe it's for real, given his track record over the last three seasons. In general, Happ has pitched much better at home this season, with a 3.26 ERA and 55 strikeouts in 58 innings. Although his next start will come away from the Rogers Centre, it's not a bad matchup, as he'll toe the rubber against the Mariners.(RotoWire, )
