News: Street appeared for the Angels for the first time Saturday, throwing a scoreless inning while allowing a hit and striking out one. Impact: Street entered the game in the ninth inning with the game tied, which is more evidence that he's indeed the closer as Joe Smith entered in the 10th. News: Street will "likely" be used as the Angels' closer going forward after being acquired from the Padres on Friday, Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register reports. Impact: This seems to just be Fletcher's opinion at this point, but it may be the logical assumption, as the Halos probably didn't give up significant pieces of their minor league system for a setup man. Street would take over the role having tallied 24 saves in 25 appearances this season to go along with a 1.09 ERA.(RotoWire, )

Taylor Lindsey and R.J. Alvarez are two of the four players headed to San Diego as a part of the deal, but it's uncertain as to who the other three players are that will be changing organizations.(RotoWire, )
