News: The Diamondbacks traded Parra to the Brewers on Thursday for minor leaguers Mitch Haniger and Anthony Banda. Impact: The 27-year-old Parra has hit just .259/.305/.362 with six homers and five steals in 104 games this season, but he's a two-time Gold Glove winner and will provide the Brewers some added versatility in the outfield. Parra will likely see a slight dip in playing time with his new club, but he should see at least occasional starts based on the matchups.(RotoWire, )

News: Parra is not in the lineup Monday against the Reds, C. Trent Rosecrans of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports. Impact: Parra has made seven straight starts for manager Kirk Gibson, but will take a seat in favor of David Peralta on Monday night. Parra went 0-for-3 Sunday afternoon, but was 6-for-10 at the dish over the previous three-game stretch. This appears to simply be a day of rest for the regular right fielder, and Parra should be available off the bench if needed.(RotoWire, )

His average is now up to .254 on the season. The Diamondbacks have an off day Thursday before starting a three-game series against the Phillies on Friday. Kyle Kendrick is the Phillies' projected starter Friday, and he has allowed a .318 batting average to left-handed hitters (like Parra) this season.(RotoWire, )

News: Parra is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Cubs. Impact: The Cubs are starting a left-hander in Travis Wood, so manager Kirk Gibson will counter by stacking his lineup with mostly right-handed bats. Cody Ross will man right field and bat seventh.(RotoWire, )
