News: Liriano (3-7) turned in a gem on Tuesday, allowing one run on four hits while striking out 11 over seven innings to pick up the win against the Giants. Impact: The only blemish was a Michael Morse solo home run in the second inning. Liriano was brilliant from there on out, retiring 18 of the final 21 batters he faced while racking up a new season-high in strikeouts with 11. Since returning from the disabled list, Liriano is 2-1 with a 1.96 ERA and a 27:12 K:BB over 23 innings, showing signs that we may be in store for a much better second-half from the left-hander. He's set to take on the Diamondbacks in his next start on Sunday.(RotoWire, )

News: Liriano turned in perhaps his best start of the season Wednesday, limiting the Dodgers to one run and four hits over seven innings in a 6-1 victory. Impact: Liriano appears to have turned a corner, posting a 2.43 ERA over his last six starts, though Wednesday marked the first time in eight outings in which he completed at least six innings.(STATS, 5:37pm)

News: Liriano (2-7) gave up one run on four hits and two walks, while striking out four over seven innings, in Wednesday's win over the Dodgers. Impact: Liriano turned in one of his better outings of the year in his third start since being activated from the disabled list. He held the Dodgers hitless through 4.1 innings before Miguel Rojas broke it up with a base knock. The lefty went seven innings for just the third time this season, and won for the first time since May 30 -– oddly enough, against the Dodgers. He'll carry a 4.18 ERA into his next start against the Giants.(RotoWire, )

News: Liriano worked five innings as he tries to bounce back from a difficult first half in which he managed just one win in 15 starts and spent a month on the disabled list with a back injury. Impact: Liriano struck out eight and gave up an unearned run. He faces the Dodgers in his next outing.(STATS, 2:23pm)

News: Liriano allowed one run (unearned) on three hits, walking three and striking out eight over five innings but was left with a no-decision against the Rockies on Friday night. Impact: It was better (he walked six in his last start), but he still needed 95 pitches (just 56 for strikes) to get through five innings -- including 48 in the first two innings alone. Liriano did strike out eight and dropped his ERA to 4.43, so perhaps he is beginning to shake off some of the rust from missing most of the first half of the season.(RotoWire, )
