News: Hosmer (hand) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Omaha on Saturday, Jeffrey Flanagan of FOX Sports Kansas City reports. Impact: X-rays taken earlier in the week on Hosmer's injured hand came back negative, and he is set to resume playing in games.
