News: Stubbs made a pinch-hit appearance and stayed in the game in center Tuesday against the Cubs, going 0-for-1 with a walk. Impact: With Tuesday's game going 16 innings, the Rockies needed all the bodies they could afford. Although he sat out the last two games with a foot injury, it appears Stubbs should be fine going forward given that he played the field Tuesday.(RotoWire, )

News: Stubbs (foot) is out of the Rockies' lineup again Tuesday, Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post reports. Impact: Stubbs will miss a third straight start, but he typically sits against right-handers -- Edwin Jackson is on the mound for the Cubs -- and it's not entirely clear to what extent the foot issue is still bothering him. Regardless, Stubbs should be considered day-to-day until he returns to the field. He is listed on the lineup card as a reserve.(RotoWire, )

News: Stubbs (foot) remains out of the lineup Monday against the Cubs. Impact: Stubbs missed Sunday's game after exiting early with a foot injury Saturday, and it looks as if his absence will extend at least another day. With the return of Carlos Gonzalez (ankle) to the lineup Monday, there's one less outfield spot to go around, so Stubbs could very well be facing reduced playing time anyway. Nonetheless, he's been in the lineup the last 22 games the Rockies have faced a left-handed starter, so his absence against southpaw Tsuyoshi Wada suggests an injury is still in play.(RotoWire, )

News: Stubbs (foot) is out of the lineup Sunday against the Pirates. Impact: Stubbs left Saturday's game in the fifth inning with a foot injury and will miss Sunday's contest as a result. The team is depleted due to injuries, with Troy Tulowitzki and Carlos Gonzalez also out, but the Rockies are stacked in the outfield and Corey Dickerson will start in Stubbs' place Sunday.(RotoWire, )

News: Stubbs left Saturday night's game after injuring his left ankle. Impact: Stubbs led off the fourth inning with his 11th home run, giving the Rockies a 2-0 lead over Pittsburgh. Corey Dickerson pinch-hit for Stubbs in the fifth.(STATS, 10:49pm)

News: Stubbs left Saturday's win over Pittsburgh in the fifth inning with an injured foot, MLB.com reports. Said the outfielder, "My spikes got caught in the dirt and my foot rolled over a little bit. I had to grit my teeth a little bit going around the bases. And as soon as I tried to run, it lit me up a little bit." Impact: Stubbs did homer in the contest, so not all was lost. If he can bounce back quicker than Carlos Gonzalez (ankle), Stubbs could stand to earn a little more playing time in the short term.(RotoWire, )
