News: Storen got the nod Wednesday with the Nationals leading 4-1 in the ninth inning, but nearly coughed up the lead by allowing two runs on three hits and a walk, including a Giancarlo Stanton home run. Impact: While Rafael Soriano has looked a bit shaky recently in the closer role, Storen didn't exactly seize his opportunity on Wednesday. He did come away with his first save of the season, but unless Soriano completely falls apart don't look for manager Matt Williams to make a switch.(RotoWire, )

News: Storen picked up his 12th hold of the season Sunday, giving up a hit and a walk while striking out one in a shutout inning. Impact: His ratios on the season (1.13 ERA, 0.94 WHIP) remain excellent, and Storen's 25:7 K:BB in 32 innings isn't too shabby either. He's definitely been lucky so far, and his .242 BABIP and 91.5 percent strand rate won't be sustainable in the second half, but even though you should expect his numbers to regress, Storen has still reestablished himself as an important part of the Nationals' bullpen.(RotoWire, )
