News: Fister allowed two runs on five hits, walking two and striking out one over 6.2 innings of a 3-2 win against Miami on Friday night. Impact: It was a respectable outing for Fister (15-6, 2.55 ERA) who has now posted quality starts in his last two after a short stretch where he struggled. He is not a strikeout pitcher but he does rely on pinpoint command which hasn't been as sharp lately so he will try to get back in the groove as the Nationals head to the playoffs. With his team having already clinched, his next (and final) start is still not set in stone.(RotoWire, )
