News: Dodgers manager Don Mattingly is "optimistic" Gordon (hip) will return to the lineup Friday for Game 1 of the NLDS, MLB.com's Ken Gurnick reports. Impact: Gordon was not in the starting lineup of Sunday's regular-season finale after hip discomfort forced an early exit from Saturday's contest. News: Gordon (hip) is out of the lineup Sunday against the Rockies. Impact: Gordon left Saturday's game with a right hip injury and later underwent a precautionary MRI. The results of the MRI have yet to be disclosed, but the team doesn't expect the injury to be overly serious.
