News: Price kept the Indians at bay Friday night, allowing one run on eight hits. He did not walk a batter and struck out seven over 7.2 innings of a 7-2 victory. Impact: It's been an up and down couple of months for Price (14-11, 3.26 ERA) but this was a strong performance as the Tigers battle it out for the division title with Kansas City. He threw 75 of 106 pitches for strikes and will try to keep the momentum going in his next start on the road against the Twins.(RotoWire, )

News: Price struck out 11 and walked one while giving up five runs on nine hits over 8.2 innings in a losing effort Saturday against the Giants. Impact: After a four-run first inning, Price settled down and kept the Giants' offense relatively quiet. Unfortunately for Price and the Tigers, Madison Bumgarner and the San Francisco bullpen managed to do just enough to keep Price from spitting the hook. Price is lined up to face Cleveland at home Friday in his next scheduled start.(RotoWire, )

News: Price allowed nine consecutive hits to the New York Yankees in the third inning before being pulled Wednesday night, a stunning outing for the left-hander who had thrown a one-hitter in his previous start. Impact: The Yankees scored eight runs in the inning, all charged to Price. Jacoby Ellsbury, New York's leadoff hitter, was also batting first in the third - so the Yankees went all the way through their batting order, with each batter adding a hit before reliever Blaine Hardy replaced Price and retired the first man he faced.(STATS, 9:18pm)
