News: Haren threw a bullpen session at Wrigley Field on Friday, MLB.com's Ken Gurnick reports. Impact: Haren is now in a routine that would set him up to pitch a big game Monday against the Giants. Hyun-Jin Ryu (shoulder) was previously tossed around as a potential candidate to make that Monday start, but Don Mattingly called that notion "a stretch" on Thursday. With Ryu likely out of the mix, Haren is now set to take the hill in what could be a deciding game in the final NL West standings. Although Haren was touched up for five earned runs his last time out in Colorado, he had allowed just two earned runs over his previous four starts combined.(RotoWire, )

News: Haren is currently slated to pitch Sunday against the Cubs, but he could be held back for Monday's opener against the Giants, the Dodgers' official site reports. Impact: Hyun-Jin Ryu (shoulder) is another option for Monday, but he's iffy at best to be ready for that start it appears. Stay tuned.(RotoWire, )

News: Haren (13-11) took the loss on Tuesday night against the Rockies, as he gave up five runs on four hits in five innings. Impact: It was only a matter of time before Haren would get himself into trouble, considering the nice run of starts he had. Although Haren only gave up four hits in the game, they were costly. The Dodgers' hurler allowed a two-run homer to Corey Dickerson in the fourth inning and also let a wild pitch get by him for another run. Haren (4.14 ERA) will try to get back on track for the Dodgers as he faces Travis Wood and the Cubs on Sunday.(RotoWire, )

News: Haren turned in another strong outing in Wednesday's 4-0 win over San Diego, surrendering four hits over seven innings. Impact: His last four starts have produced a 3-0 record, 0.69 ERA, .179 opponents' average and 0.73 WHIP, though they've come against the New York Mets, San Diego, Arizona and San Diego again.(STATS, 6:36pm)

Impact: Haren has allowed only two runs in 26 innings (0.69 ERA) over his last four starts. The veteran right-hander will try to keep it going in the thin air of Colorado on Tuesday.(RotoWire, )
