News: Granderson's August swoon continued Wednesday, as he went 0-for-3 in a 3-2 loss to the Braves. Impact: Granderson is 15-for-97 (.155) with 17 strikeouts and 11 walks in August. Since the All-Star Game, he's 24-for-140 (.171) with a 15:32 BB:K. Granderson was thriving for a while following his move to the leadoff spot, but is now hitting just .210 with a .289 on-base percentage, providing the Mets little return on the four-year, $60 million investment they made in him this offseason.(RotoWire, )

News: Granderson went 1-for-4 with one run scored and one RBI as he hit his 16th homer of the season Friday facing the Dodgers. Impact: The first-inning home run (415 feet) by Granderson was the only offense the Mets could muster until the ninth inning. He struggles to get on base at times and isn't the most ideal leadoff hitter, but he does bring power and run-producing ability to his game.(RotoWire, )

News: Granderson went 0-for-4 Saturday and is now 9-for-63 with just two runs batted in during his last 16 games. Impact: Granderson has been streaky this year and is certainly in one of those down streaks right now. Manager Terry Collins likely will run Granderson out there daily in right field in the hopes that a solid game or two will turn around the hitter's fortunes at the plate.(RotoWire, )
