News: Granderson (illness) is back in the lineup Thursday against the Brewers, Andrew Gruman of FOX Sports Wisconsin reports. Impact: Manager Terry Collins suggested after Wednesday's game that Granderson might not be available in any capacity Thursday due to the stomach illness, but it seems the 33-year-old has improved enough in the last 12 hours or so to warrant a return to the lineup. Granderson will man right field and bat leadoff against Matt Garza, against whom he's 7-for-24 (.292) with four doubles and a homer in his career.(RotoWire, )

News: Granderson will miss his second straight game Wednesday vs. the Mariners due to illness, ESPN.com's Adam Rubin reports. Impact: After waiting to see how Granderson felt during pregame warmups before making his lineup, manager Terry Collins determined the outfielder wasn't yet fit to play. Granderson will be day-to-day heading into Thursday's tilt with the Brewers, but he could still be called upon for pinch-hitting duty off the bench Wednesday.(RotoWire, )

News: Granderson is out of Tuesday's lineup because he is very sick, Newsday's Marc Carig reports. Impact: Manager Terry Collins stressed just how under the weather Granderson is, so it would seem the 33-year-old is questionable, at best, to play in Wednesday's series finale against the Mariners. Chris Young is also out of the lineup, and neither player is believed to be available off the bench Tuesday.(RotoWire, )

News: Granderson picked up his eighth stolen base of the season while going 2-for-4 with two runs scored against the Padres on Friday. Impact: For a leadoff hitter, Granderson has had far too many goose-egg nights, which have led to his hot-and-cold season to this point. Even with the inconsistencies, he's getting on base at a good rate (.349 OBP) and providing solid power.(RotoWire, )
