News: Gentry (concussion) still hasn't resumed any baseball activities, Joe Stiglich of CSN California reports. Impact: Gentry has been shut down for well over a week now as a result of a concussion, suffered in a collision with White Sox second baseman Carlos Sanchez. With no timetable for him to start back up with baseball activities, a return this season for Gentry is looking iffy, at best.(RotoWire, )

News: Gentry is now dealing with sinus issues in addition to his lingering concussion symptoms, Jane Lee of MLB.com reports. Impact: It's been a week now since Gentry suffered a concussion in a collision with White Sox second baseman Carlos Sanchez, and it sounds like he's yet to completely shake the cobwebs. News: Gentry (concussion) reported feeling a little better but is not available to play Wednesday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. News: Gentry has left Oakland's game at the Chicago White Sox following a collision at first base while beating out a bunt single. Impact: Coco Crisp had just reached on an error leading off the fifth when Gentry laid down a bunt toward the right side. He beat pitcher John Danks' throw but his head collided with Carlos Sanchez's shoulder while the second baseman was covering the bag. Gentry stayed down for several minutes Tuesday night, holding his head while being tended to by a trainer, before walking gingerly off the field.(STATS, 10:04pm)

News: Gentry has been diagnosed with a concussion, the San Francisco Chronicle's Susan Slusser reports. Impact: He left Tuesday's game after colliding with White Sox second baseman Carlos Sanchez, as his head made contact with Sanchez's shoulder. He walked off under his own power, but was visibly shaken up. There's a good chance we won't see Gentry for a week or more, depending on how quickly he moves through the league's concussion protocol. In most formats there will be better options over the final three weeks than Gentry, who was a part-time player to begin with.(RotoWire, )

News: Gentry left midway through Tuesday's game after colliding with White Sox second baseman Carlos Sanchez, possibly suffering a head injury, USA Today's Bob Nightengale reports. Impact: He walked off under his own power but looked shaken up. It's possible he just got the wind knocked out of him, but his head may have collided with Sanchez's shoulder, so a concussion is also possible. Consider him day-to-day for now, and we'll update his status when the A's specify on Gentry's injury.(RotoWire, )
