News: Crisp (ankle) is in the lineup Saturday versus the Orioles, acting as the DH and batting leadoff. Impact: Prior to Friday's contest, manager Bob Melvin relayed that Crisp remained day-to-day due to his recovering ankle, despite his status in center field and atop the lineup. Crisp proceeded to go 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored, toughing out the ailment. Until he takes a seat, assume that he'll start most days.(RotoWire, )

News: Crisp (ankle) is still considered day-to-day by manager Bob Melvin, CSN California's Joe Stiglich reports. News: Crisp (ankle) is back in the A's lineup Friday, batting leadoff and playing center field. Impact: He had the All-Star break and the four preceding games off, so Crisp should be fresh, and while he has the tendency to get banged up on a regular basis, he should be considered healthy for now.(RotoWire, )

News: Crisp (ankle/neck) is not in the lineup for Sunday's game in Seattle, the Mariners' official site reports. Impact: With Crisp set to miss a fourth straight game, Craig Gentry will get another start in center field. There is no indication that Crisp will be placed on the disabled list, but assuming he isn't used off the bench Sunday, he will be nine days removed from his last appearance when the A's come out of the break.(RotoWire, )

News: Crisp (ankle/neck) is out of the lineup Saturday in Seattle. Impact: The absence marks Crisp's third in a row, as he's now dealing with the added caveat of neck pain in addition to a tweaked ankle suffered Wednesday. Don't be surprised if the Athletics hold him out entirely in advance of the All-Star break, but Craig Gentry will cover center field in Crisp's stead once again Saturday.(RotoWire, )

Impact: Crisp missed some time earlier in June with the neck injury. He was out of the lineup for Thursday's game and will also miss Friday's contest with what was thought to be an ankle injury, but now appears to be a combination of injuries.
