News: Sale allowed four runs (all unearned) on four hits in six innings Sunday against the Yankees on Sunday, but he did not factor into the decision. He struck out seven and walked three. Impact: Sale was breezing through this one in typical Sale fashion, and it only became a clunker after Dayan Viciedo dropped a fly ball in the bottom of the sixth, paving the way for a four-run inning. The error made it so that all of the runs were unearned, but Sale did not help himself with two walks in the inning and a hit batsman that resulted in a run. His next start should come Saturday against Detroit.(RotoWire, )

News: Sale (10-3) took the loss Monday after giving up three runs on eight hits, including two home runs and striking out eight over six innings against the Orioles. Impact: J.J. Hardy and Nelson Cruz each took Sale deep in this one. It marks the first time the lefty has allowed two home runs in a game this season. Sale still owns a fantastic 2.12 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 158:26 K:BB ratio in 136 innings. He takes the hill Sunday in New York versus the Yankees.(RotoWire, )

News: Sale threw an absolute gem Tuesday, pitching eight shut-out innings, allowing just four hits and two walks while striking out 12 batters before seeing his bullpen blow a 2-0 lead in the ninth inning to the Giants. Impact: Granted he didn't get the win Tuesday, Sale is pitching lights-out once again this year. With a 10-2 record, 2.01 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 150:24 K:BB ratio in 130 innings pitched, Sale is a legitimate candidate for the AL Cy Young Award this year. Sale's next start is scheduled for Sunday at home against the Blue Jays.(RotoWire, )
