News: Quentin (knee) was transferred to the 60-day DL on Monday, Dennis Lin of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports. Impact: Manager Bud Black acknowledged last week that Quentin likely wouldn't make hit back this season, but his move to the 60-day DL all but assures that he won't return in 2014. Quentin played in a career-low 50 games this season, hitting a dismal .177/.284/.315 across 155 plate appearances, and it wouldn't be a surprise if the Padres moved on in the offseason.(RotoWire, )
