News: Belt (concussion) will miss at least 2-to-3 more weeks, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. Impact: Unfortunately, a visit to a concussion specialist did not yield positive results, as Belt has been ruled out of action until at least early September. His symptoms resurfaced in his fifth game back after initially suffering the injury July 19. Adam Duvall, Travis Ishikawa, Mike Morse and Buster Posey (hip) will likely all factor in at first base until Belt returns.(RotoWire, )

News: Belt will visit a concussion specialist in Pittsburgh next week, Andrew Baggarly of reports. Impact: Belt was forced back onto the 7-day DL last week as a result of recurring concussion symptoms, and at this point, a move to the 15-day DL appears inevitable. He will travel to Pittsburgh when the Giants go to Chicago on Tuesday, and perhaps the visit will yield a potential timetable for his return. Adam Duvall is making his fourth straight start at first base Friday.(RotoWire, )

News: Belt was placed back on the 7-day concussion DL on Friday, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. Impact: After reporting a headache during Wednesday's game, Belt was lifted and examined by a Brewers' team doctor, who said he did not believe it was related to the concussion Belt suffered late last month. However, upon further evaluation, Belt has been diagnosed with recurring concussion symptoms, and he'll be forced back on the 7-day DL as a result. Matt Duffy was recalled in the corresponding move, but look for Mike Morse to man first base in Belt's absence.(RotoWire, )

News: Belt was removed from Wednesday's game with a headache, but the Brewers' team doctor checked him and did not believe it was related to the concussion he suffered last month, the San Francisco Chronicle reports. Impact: Belt is sitting Thursday, per the recommendation of head athletic trainer Dave Groeschner, but it seems the headache was not the result of lingering concussion symptoms. It's a bit disconcerting nonetheless, though it sounds like Belt has a good chance of returning to the lineup Friday.(RotoWire, )

News: Belt is out of the Giants' lineup Thursday against the Brewers. Impact: Following an 0-for-5, four-strikeout performance Wednesday, Belt will sit as Buster Posey takes over at first base in Thursday's series finale. Andrew Susac will step in behind the plate to catch starter Jake Peavy. In five games since returning from a concussion, Belt has gone 4-for-21 (.190 average) with a homer and a double.(RotoWire, )
