News: Cabrera (back) is back in the lineup Sunday against the Royals. Impact: Cabrera has missed five straight games since exiting Monday's contest with back spasms, but that streak will end Sunday afternoon. He'll man shortstop for the Tribe and bat second in the order. The 28-year-old Venezuelan should be in line for a consistent workload moving forward, but manager Terry Francona may elect to give his shortstop the occasional maintenance day to prevent his back from flaring up again.(RotoWire, )

News: Cabrera (back) is aiming for a Saturday return after increasing his activity Thursday, MLB.com's Jordan Bastian reports. Impact: Cabrera hasn't started for the Indians since he was removed from Monday's game due to back spasms, although he'll eye a return this weekend. Manager Terry Francona did note that his Saturday target date may be overly optimistic, however, so the situation is definitely worth monitoring for fantasy owners who plan to use him in their daily lineups this weekend. Mike Aviles and Jose Ramirez should continue to see increased reps while Cabrera remains sidelined.(RotoWire, )
