News: Chapman picked up his 22nd save Saturday, walking one and striking out two over 1.1 innings of work. Impact: Chapman was summoned with two outs in the eighth inning and two men on to preserve the 1-0 lead. He'd get Adam LaRoche to ground out to end the threat, and then wrapped up the ninth by striking out two, hitting 100 mph or higher on 11 of the 16 pitches. The All-Star closer has recorded a strikeout in each of his last 43 appearances, the longest such streak by a reliever since 1900, and is now 22-for-24 in save situations this season.(RotoWire, )

News: Chapman got the loss Sunday against the Yankees, giving up two hits while striking out one in a tie game in the ninth inning. Impact: The second "hit" was a pop-up by Brian McCann that dropped between Todd Frazier, Jay Bruce and Skip Schumaker, when all three lost the ball in the sun. However, Chapman earned his part in the loss by allowing Jacoby Ellsbury to reach earlier on a single, steal second without a throw and reach third on a wild pitch.(RotoWire, )
