News: Ethier is out of the Dodgers' lineup again Wednesday. Impact: With just one at-bat over the past seven days, Ethier is clearly the odd man out of the Dodgers' outfield mix. It seems manager Don Mattingly will continue to go with Carl Crawford in left, Yasiel Puig in center and Matt Kemp in right most days, with Scott Van Slyke seeing occasional starts against lefties.(RotoWire, )

News: Ethier will see his playing time greatly reduced given the new outfield alignment, manager Don Mattingly revealed Sunday, reports the Dodgers' official site. Impact: Over the past four games, Ethier has just one at-bat, so this isn't exactly surprising news. The regular outfield will be Carl Crawford in left, Yasiel Puig in center, and Matt Kemp in right. At this point, Ethier's value the rest of the season looks to be minimal unless the Dodgers opt to trade an outfielder or two.(RotoWire, )

News: Ethier is out of the lineup Saturday against the Giants. Impact: Ethier will miss his third straight game, but it won't be due to any injury. In a Dodger outfield that has shuffled around all season, manager Don Mattingly now may be settling in on using Carl Crawford in left, Yasiel Puig in center and Matt Kemp in right. If this pattern continues, Ethier's reps will certainly be reduced until a trade or injury occurs to free up space.(RotoWire, )

News: Ethier is not in the lineup Friday against the Giants. Impact: Ethier has just 53 plate appearances so far this month, and his playing time figures to be scaled back even further with Yasiel Puig expected to see more time in center field moving forward. The 32-year-old Ethier is batting .248/.311/.374 this season, and he's chipped in just one homer since May 28.(RotoWire, )

News: Ethier is not in the lineup Saturday against the Cardinals. Impact: Both Either and Matt Kemp are sitting Saturday, with Carl Crawford and Scott Van Slyke starting in left and center field, respectively. Ethier's OPS for the season is sitting at just .689, and he hasn't done anything lately to warrant an increase in playing time.(RotoWire, )
